lol, youve got to laugh at that blatant liar in Coventry who claimed to have won the EuroMillions?
The winner has come forward and said they want to remain anonymous, so some hacks have obviously gone back to this 77 year old pensioner who claimed to have won and this is what she said:
“One pensioner claimed on Tuesday that her husband had thrown away her winning ticket but she had noted down her winning numbers.
Last night, the 77-year-old woman, who asked not to be named, said: ‘Oh well, maybe next time. I must have got confused. I could have sworn that I wrote the numbers down from the ticket.
‘I guess I’ll have to apologise to my husband now for accusing him of losing it. But I’m secretly glad it isn’t us. I don’t think I’d ever have had a moment’s peace again if I’d won all that money.”
lol, yeah right. I love the bit about being glad you didnt win all that money. If thats the case, why bother playing in the first place if you don’t want the hassle? Stupid senile woman.
Whether she was lying or not, I can see her point in saying she is secretly glad – it would be hassle. But, why not still play the lottery, even if you don’t want that big win? In reality, the chances of you actually scooping mega millions on it is pretty slim, but there is a bit better odds on winning a small prize now and again. Maybe they just liked to play a few lines for the thrill of it, and maybe enjoy the odd £10 now and again?
