Can anyone give me information on the Taiwan receipt lottery?
In Taiwan there is a lottery that is played with the receipt that you get from 7eleven, family mart, Watsons and other places like that. I have been here 3 years and I have never checked the numbers on these things because truthfully I didn’t really understand what it was.
But just about an hour ago I looked at the list of numbers and one of the tickets that I got from Costco has the numbers 0311-6604 so i think i won. What should I do?
sorry i didn’t see i forgot the date.
it was from 97/11/26
Sorry I forgot to change the date from Taiwan to US. 2008/11/26.
I don’t understand why, but the years in Taiwan are off from the US calendar by 11years.
One more thing, do I need a Chop (an official name stamp) to put my signature on the back of the ticket? I have been thinking of getting one but not sure about it.
I don’t think it is expired. Congratulations, you win NTD 200,000. You should go to main post office in your area and ask their favor to assist you to fill the personal information. Don’t forget to bring the receipt and your passport. One additional thing is that you need to pay withholding tax for 20%, thus you’ll receive NTD 160,000 after tax cash. See this link

The year showed on your receipt was R.O.C year, not DC year.
You need to fill your personal info at the back of the receipt and sign it. Don’t worry about using a stamp, they’ll accept your signiture.
Hope the above could answer your questions. Write me an email if you have any additional questions.
